Being Full...

Being Full...

What happens when you get to full?

Yep! You pop!! That happens when the Love of Christ comes into our hearts it changes us and causes the change that has happened on the inside of us to be visibly seen on the outside...kind of like popcorn...the inside has burst forth to the outside creating a new creation. This what the Apostle Paul was talking about,"Therefore I ,ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,  may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.  Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us... (Ephesians 3:13-20)"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new" (II Corinthians 5:17)...

But often what is on the inside isn't what we really want
anyone else to see...What do we do then?

Repent It & Forget It !!!

The Lord Jesus tells us in His Word, "If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love. "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." (John 15:10-12) This means that if we are going to follow Him then we must leave the world, and the doubts that the enemy wants to place within our mind behind...

We are not who we used to be any longer, but neither are we yet who we are going to be, "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure"...(I John 1-3)

And as we begin to walk in our daily relationship with the Lord through the Holy Spirit and begin to read His Word, He leads us into a deeper relationship with Him that takes us deeper into the Father, "And in that day you will ask Me nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. "These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father". (John 16:23-25)

It is a daily process of change, that is making us difference in us... And transforming us into the image that He has designed for us to be, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." (Romans 12:1-2)

Is a Spiritual Caterpillar Effect if you will…Unlike the natural caterpillar who has an instinctive draw for change, we have been given a choice. We have been given the choice to either be conformed to the world, or be renewed daily through the work of the Holy Spirit. If we will choose to take God at His Word and follow Him where He leads us we will not be let down. The road isn’t easy but it is ALWAYS worth it, “ “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9)”

We are a lot like the caterpillar, we are but worms, but when God changes us into His masterpiece of art we are something unique, "But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. (Isaiah 64:8)" As we submit to the Father's will, we realize the need for a safe and secure place for this transformational process to take place. Just as the caterpillar has its cocoon, Almighty God begins to convict us in the same manner of our sin and leads us to a Church Family where the healing discipling process can begin, "Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began...(II Timothy 1:9)"

We are a New Creature now, "As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving…(Colossians 2:6-7)"  We cannot expect that God will complete the transformational process in our lives until we fully become dependant upon Him for everything and begin to seek His will and direction for our lives. Then we MUST...

Santify our hearts…

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear . (I Peter 3:15)”

Open our ears…

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God…(Romans 10:17)”

Studying the Word…

Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth…(II Timothy 2:15)

Be people of Prayer…

Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much…(James 5:16)”

Continually seek God…

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.(Matthew 5:6)”…“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.(Matthew 7:7)”

The key to knowing His calling and desire for

our lives is found in having the eyes of our heart

opened to see what He sees for us! To know

that we sit in heavenly places with Him!

Knowing this, and now realizing this ponder this one little responsibility. YES! You heard me right…I used the “R” Word. The World is watching us folks, William Barkly once said, “Here is the Christian’s proud privilege and almost terrifying responsibility: the honor of Christ and of the Church are in your hands. By your every word and action you can make men think more or less of your Church and your Master.”
