"TIME TO PRAY, BUT, CAN I, WILL I?"

"TIME TO PRAY, BUT, CAN I, WILL I?"

It's a fact that some people actually do not know how to pray, even the disciples asked Jesus, teach us to pray, Read Luke 11:1. And for sure there is know better teacher in the world you could ask this question. Yes Jesus, he is the way, the truth, and the life, there is know other way to God but through him, the mediator, through our prayers, between God and man, Read John 14:6. The big question is, Do, "you", want to learn, how to pray? You can't depend on others prayers, though it is a good thing to pray for one another, you must learn to pray for yourself, establishing a connection, a relationship, a means of communication with God.

What puzzles me about some believers in God is, that they do not believe God can speak to them, and they to him, just as Jesus did through prayer, and as many other prophets of the Bible did also. Numerous scripture in the Bible begin with the words, I said unto the Lord, and the Lord said unto me, and if God can speak to them, why not you? Question is, would you know his voice if he did speak to you? As stated in John 10:27, my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, Are you truly a sheep of Gods pasture? The time has come to examine yourself, and your relationship with God. It's not, can you pray and speak to God, it's when will "you", begin to pray and speak to God? But first there are some things you are going to have to do in order to plug in, connect, and establish this line of communication with God, and yes there are some things required of "you", of all of us. James 4:8, Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 2 Chronicles 7:14-15, If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways. Then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place.

Now, we know God can, and will, hold up his end of this promise, or he makes himself a lair, can "you", and will "you" hold up your end? Don't give up on yourself before you try, clean up, read up, then pray up, and ask God for the strength of the Holy Spirit to carry you through, one day, and one step at a time, little by little. This does not happen over night, it is going to take a daily walk with Jesus, yes daily, you will have to die daily to your sin. If you do not cleanse your heart of this sin in your life, "God Will Not Hear Your Prayer" period, confirmation scripture verse is, Psalms 66:18, David wrote, If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me, that is scary to me. But, the good news is, God is faithful to his promise in Jeremiah 29:10-13, please read to get understanding.

According to these scriptures, if you obey Gods word, he will visit you, he will perform a good word toward you, he will give you peace, he will give you an expected end, he will begin to hear you when you go and pray to him, and he will be found of you, when?, when you search for him with all of your heart. That is a lot of, I wills from God, now what will "you" do for him? Will "you", begin to humble yourself, will "you" begin to pray, will "you" begin to seek his face, will "you" begin to turn from your wicked ways, will "you" begin to purify your heart, will "you" begin to walk daily with him as Adam did from the beginning, will "you" now walk, by and in the spirit, as Jesus did? Questions, questions, and more questions, the time has come upon you "now", to give God an answer, right "now", and I highly recommend to you, to just say yes I will O Lord, what will thou have me to do! Then just do it, Then, and only then, you may quote the scriptures, Psalms 34:4, I sought the Lord (prayed), and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. And Psalms 34:17, The righteous cry (pray), and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles, Amen, and Amen.

Jesus used prayer in his life not as an exit door, but as an open door to Gods heart. Jesus will to surrender to the will of God showed his submission, commitment, and his dedication to God. Jesus knew, that without God he was nothing, and that he needed to establish a way to communicate with him. So, he humbled himself and prayed, he became a servant, that he would be able to have the mind to receive instructions, even though he knew he was equal to God, Read Philippians 2:6-7. Jesus also acknowledges in John 14:28, that his Father is greater than he, Amen. So as Jesus did, we need to do also, acknowledge that God is greater than we are, and we need him, more than he needs us. As Solomon did, we also need to do, and that is, acknowledging God in all our ways, and leaning not to our own understanding (a double mind). Also, being not wise in our own eyes, that we will pray to God in times of temptation, and hear his voice with the way of escape he has promised to provide for us, Read 1 Corinthians 10:13.

In order for us to possess this ability, to hear his voice in these times, it's a must, that we abide in the vine (God), the true vine. John 15:4 states, Abide in me, and I in you. As a branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine. No more can ye, except you abide in me, Amen and Amen. Yes, the wonderful and awesome thing about our God is, that he already knows our needs before we even pray and ask, because he has the ability to abide in our hearts, and in our minds, Read Matthew 6:8. Now, knowing God already knows our needs before we pray and ask for anything, should never be an excuse for us not to humble ourselves, and drop to our knees every day, and boldly come before Gods throne of grace in prayer, where we may obtain his mercy, and find his grace, to help us in our time of need, Hebrews 4:16. The Word of God also tells us that, men ought always to pray and not faint (so hang in there), and also, to pray without ceasing (so don't give up on your prayers to God) , Luke 18:1, 1 Thessalonians 5:17.

And last but not least Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, Be careful for nothing, but in, every thing, by prayer, supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, yes it shall, Amen to that. Now, questions to self , Can, can, I, pray? Answer "YES", Also, When, When will, I , pray? Answer, "ALWAYS" It's Time, Gods waiting, "on you".  Type your content here...
